The programme complements and enriches the academic experience of passionate graduate students, empowering them to become the next generation of climate innovation leaders.

The Summer School provides a unique and exciting opportunity for the most talented and ambitiousstudents to take part in a 3 or 5 week learning experience. This takes students out of the classroom and into industry, research institutions, and innovative workshops with a distinct learn-by-doing methodology.

The Journey combines lectures, case studies and site-visits to help get participants up to speed on the latest climate and business knowledge. Practical workshops, coaching and collaboration help students identify their own climate innovation business idea, culminating in a pitch competition in the final week.

This year there are 6 Journeys running in July and August, over 3 dates:
Route 1: 3rd July – 6th August
Route 2: (3 weeks) 17th July – 6th August
Route 3: 24th July – 27th August

They will be held across Climate-KIC locations: Paris, London, Valencia, Bologna, Zurich, Hamburg, Munich, Budapest, Lund, Wroclaw, Trondheim, Netherlands, and the West Midlands.

Individuals can apply now via the online application form.
Deadline for EU students is 1st March 2016.
